All our ambulance staff are registered with either Health Practice Associates (HPA) or Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have an enhanced DBS clearance.

Iuliana is a GMC fully registered medical practitioner with specialist registration in Geriatric Medicine, since Mar 2012. She is currently working as a Consultant in Care of the Elderly, Scarborough Hospital. She is a Geriatric Consultant since 2001, having 18 years of experience in acute geriatric care. She has competence in Palliative Medicine since 2014. In Sep 2014 she obtained her PhD in immunosenescence field.
She has an active membership with professional societies: British Geriatric Society (since 2013), Royal Colleagues of Physician London (since 2013), European Respiratory Society (since 2011), British Medical Association (since 2013) and International Society of Infectious Disease (since 2011).
She has a large experience in emergency medicine due to her on-call duties and Frailty sessions inside the Emergency Department.
Fiona is a HCPC Registered Paramedic and currently works in frontline emergency care, having done so for the last 17 years.
Throughout her career, Fiona has continued her learning, is a qualified trainer and now works as an “Enhanced Care Paramedic” and Paramedic Mentor regularly working with and supporting students.
She is also Co-Director of Salus NE Ltd, a first aid training and event cover company based in County Durham.
