Our VISION is to provide a safe patient transfer and high quality care and treatment for people who use our services in pre-hospital, inter-hospital or post-hospital settings. Our MISSION is to improve pre-hospital care in North Yorkshire region and to respond to the patient needs in a prompt and professional way.
Our company is lead by two Company Directors. Our operational team includes a variety of job roles: paramedics, emergency medical technicians, emergency care asistants, emergency first responders, acute care assistants and PTS drivers. Our staff has an enhanced DBS clearance and has completed all statutory and mandatory courses required by their specific job role.
We have fully-equipped ambulances: adult and paediatric resuscitation kits, automatic defibrillators, cardiac monitors, mecanical ventilators, portable suction units, vital signs monitoring equipment, medical gases (oxygen, entonox), mecanical CPR devises and infusion pumps.
Rimmer has founded Ambulance International Scarborough Ltd in 2018. He has obtained his medical degrees in Netherlands. He completed the Specialist Advance Training for Intensive Care Nurse in Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis (OLVG) in Amsterdam in 1997, being certified as an advanced intensive care specialist. He has also completed the exam for Anaesthetist Assistant in Academie voor de Gezondheidszorg in Groningen in 2004.
During his work in Netherlands between 1993-2008, he has acquired a vaste experience in Emergency Medicine by working across acute settings: CCU, ITU, theatres and A&E. He has made a career change in 2008, when he worked as an advanced clinical practitioner for a Dutch ambulance company, offering qualified medical treatment inside patient repatriation transfers across Europe.
Iuliana is a GMC fully registered doctor with specialist registration in Geriatric Medicine since Mar 2012. She is currently working as a Consultant In Care of the Elderly, in James Cook University Hospital. Inside company, she is the Registered Manager for regulated activities.
She has 20 years of experience in Emergency Geriatrics and she is acredited in Palliative Care medicine since 2005. In 2014, she has obtained the title of Doctor in Medicine, with her dissertation in immunosenescence. She has a large experience in acute medicine being involved in General Internal Medicine oncall rota and Fraility sessions in A&E.
